Continuing Education - CNE

The College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education program supports the mission of the University by providing the highest quality continuing education. Our programs are designed for registered nurses with advanced and basic professional degrees in Nebraska and beyond. Our activities aim to enhance the knowledge, skills, attitudes, competence, and performance of nurses, ultimately improving patient outcomes and community health. To meet the needs of our adult learners we provide live programs and educational activities delivered through state-of-the-art technology-based modalities that can be completed anytime and anywhere.

ONLINE & INDEPENDENT STUDY


CNE online activities include a variety of options, such as online newsletters, case studies, and webinars, on a range of topics. All activities target RNs, and many are intended specifically for APRNs and physicians assistants.

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #13699.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education has been awarded Accreditation with Distinction, the highest recognition awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Accreditation Program. This distinction is valid through 2016.
