DNP courses and plans of study:
for 2011 cohort
Our DNP program is a 35-credit postmaster's program. It consists of nine courses, one of which is the Capstone Project that students complete after finishing their didactic course work. Elective courses are also possible, based on a student's career goals and consultation with his/her faculty advisor.

The first cohort of students will enter in August 2011 (fall semester). Future cohorts will begin in May (summer session), concurrently with the PhD students.
Please note: The DNP curriculum will continuously evolve to offer superior preparation for advanced clinical practice. Course numbers, titles and other details are subject to change.
Below are sample full-time and part-time plans of study designed specifically for students beginning in the fall semester. These plans of study pertain to the 2011 cohort only.
Beyond these two plans are multiple options that can accommodate individual student needs. For example, a student may elect to take two courses some semesters and one course other semesters. A plan tailored to individual student needs will be developed in consultation with the faculty advisor.
