Do I need to take the GRE for this program?
No you do not need to take the GRE for this program. -
I can't log into the website to check my application status. What do I do?
You need to call the help desk at 402-559-7700. -
What is the website to check on my application status?
NursingCAS. Please use the username and password created at the time of application. After log-in, click on 'Self Service' and then 'Student Center'. By using this site, in addition to tracking your application, you will also be able to identify and track your application documents. Please note, it will take approximately 24 hours after your application is received for the Admissions Application Status to be updated. Recheck it periodically to view updates as documents received are matched with your application. -
What do I choose on the online application as far as which path?
You want to make sure you are choosing “Graduate”, “Master of Science in Nursing”, “the semester” and then choose “Nursing Administration”. -
If I have already applied for a program at UNMC, do I need to resend my transcripts?
Transcripts are archived for past applicants for 2yrs. If you last applied more than two years ago then you need to resend your transcripts. To be safe, check with the Student Services department at 402-559-6639. -
How do I apply?
Application is done online. Slots are limited and admission is competitive. Applying as early as possible is to your advantage. Application will open on October 1.
