UNMC Email
Please access your UNMC Lotus Notes email on a regular basis. This is the main mode of communication from UNMC faculty, staff and departments. Any semester, except summer, that you are not enrolled in a UNMC class, your Lotus Notes account will be inactivated unless you are on official leave of absence.
UNMC College of Nursing students are required to have their Lotus Notes email listed as their preferred email account in our student information system. You can do this by logging into the UNMC Student Self-Service website using your Lotus Notes username and password.
- Click on Self Service in the blue menu on the left
- Choose Student Center
- Scroll down to the contact information area
- Click on “add an email address” and type in your UNMC email address
- Place a check mark in the "preferred" box and press save
UNMC has designated the UNMC Lotus Notes email address as your "primary email" for communication purposes, and you are responsible for checking your UNMC Lotus Notes email regularly. If you have other email addresses that you have utilized to communicate with UNMC staff, faculty, administrators, or other campuses, you should not only check your UNMC Lotus Notes email but these other email addresses often.
