Alum Michelle Kowalczyk (left), BSN 2004, advanced to her MSN in 2010 and is now an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. After going to Tanzania as a medical volunteer in 2007, she and friend Kim Krowne (right) co-founded the Knock Foundation. "Nursing at root is caring. The image here captures the joy that radiates from caring.
It speaks volumes about the difference that nurses make in people's lives each day.
Michelle's selfless service goes above and beyond. It's an inspiration for the entire health care profession."
VIRGINIA TILDEN, RN, DNSc, FAAN
