CTSA - Center for Clinical and Translational Research
Provides seminars in an open forum where investigators and receive constructive comments and suggestions from an interdisciplinary audience. Additionally, Great Plains Health Research Consortium resource providers may use this forum to educate the audience about the services available to investigators. Interdisciplinary Healthy Heart Center
Begins to address the cardiovascular needs of rural citizens with its emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention. With its use of technology, it has the potential to reach many rural Nebraskans who would not ordinarily receive the creative interventions proposed in the pilot studies. It is their goal to create a sophisticated database and facilitate the education and training of investigators and research assistants across the state by developing and sharing innovative e-learning activities for standardization of research protocols.
