The Primary Integrated Psychiatric Nursing (PIPN) project reaches across the state of Nebraska. One focus of the project is to bring advanced learning opportunities to nurses in rural Nebraska. The enhanced distance education technology allows for student in the program located anywhere in the state to stay connected to faculty at the UNMC Omaha campus and to each other for interactive learning. Even clinical supervision at a rural clinic is possible.
