Women's Health Week is a week-long health observance coordinated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office on Women's Health. The Olson Center, being a leader and supporter in women's health in the greater Omaha community, began celebrating women's health week in 2010. A series of FREE events throughout the week is offered and all are invited. Events include a wellness fair, educational presentations, health & wellness screenings, etc. In 2011 a "Women's Night" was offered at Dreams MedSpa, a medical spa focusing on relaxation and rejuvenation. All in all, helpful resources, educational material and fun activities are offered to women in the area. We hope we are changing lives and empowering women with their health initiatives.
Women's Health Week at the Olson Center for Women's Health happens the week after Mother's Day. This year we hosted a series of FREE events to campus women May 13-17, 2013. 402-559-6345.
