What is available to me?
The mission of Tutorial Services is to facilitate student academic success by providing personalized academic assistance and course-specific peer tutoring to assist students in the development of study skills requisite to success in coursework at UNMC.
Tutorial Services are available for academic assistance for most first and second year UNMC registered students. (COM students are encouraged to contact their administration office.) These services are available free of charge and are located in the Office of Student Equity and Multicultural Affairs (OSEMA) on the second floor of the Student Life Center. OSEMA is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during the regular academic year. Call 402-559-4437 during business hours to schedule an appointment to fill out an application.
Students are encouraged to inquire about tutorial services early in the semester to facilitate their success in courses.
