The University of Nebraska Medical Center provides tailored tours for elementary, secondary and college groups. Tours of UNMC are interactive and provide insight into the daily workings of an academic medical center focused on 21st century education, world-class research and state-of-the-art clinical care.

Requests must be submitted at least one month in advance of the proposed tour date.

Tour days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and take approximately 3 hours. Tour times are either:
9 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Presentations vary from touring labs and discussing research to informational career field presentations and group demonstrations. Groups usually visit 3-4 different areas while on the tour.
