The UNMC Cell Analysis Facility is administrated, operated, and supported through the Department of Pathology and Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. It is subsidized through the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research with state funds from the Nebraska Research Initiative (NRI). The NRI is an investment by the state to support a research base within the University of Nebraska that encourages economic growth and development in Nebraska. The NRI focuses on eight areas of research based on the potential impact of each for the economy of the state. The Cell Analysis Facility fulfills the mission of Biotechnology, Molecular Biology and Molecular Genetics research by providing essential research laboratory services that are too expensive or highly specialized for individual investigators to purchase or develop on their own. The Cell Analysis Facility receives additional support from the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center and from the Nebraska Center for Virology. Major instrumentation has been provided by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, The University of Nebraska Foundation, the Nebraska Banker's Fund, and by the NIH-NCRR Shared Instrument Program.
All users of the Cell Analysis Facility are obligated to acknowledge the facility in formal publications and presentations which include data generated in the facility. Please see our . We also appreciate receiving reprints of such publications.
