Location

The Cell Analysis Facility is located on the first floor of the Durham Research Center I in room 1056 on the UNMC campus, encompassing approximately 2,600 square feet of space. Hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

The Cell Analysis Facility personnel are extensively experienced in all types of flow cytometry procedures, their combined expertise spans more than 50 years. Charles A. Kuszynski, M.S., Ph.D., is the Director of the UNMC Cell Analysis Facility, and the Nebraska Center for Virology Flow Cytometry Shared Resource. He is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and Microbiology at UNMC. Dr. Kuszynski earned his M.S. in Biochemistry and his Ph.D., in Pathology from UNMC, and has published over 70 scientific articles on flow cytometry. His research interests include growth factor and cytokine receptors, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and gene therapy. Dr. Kuszynski is available for consultation, protocol development and training.

Victoria B. Smith, B.S., is a trained flow cytometry operator with over eight years basic science and flow cytometry experience. Her research interests are in gmp manufacturing, glp product development and breast cancer.
