The University of Nebraska Board of Regents the creation of the Center for Staphylococcal Research (CSR) on the University of Nebraska Medical Center campus. Our center is the first in the nation dedicated to staphylococcal research and translational treatment strategies. We are utilizing a team approach of practitioners and researchers to lessen the impact of staphylococcal disease on human health.

Nebraska Transposon Mutant Library

We have constructed and published the Nebraska Transposon Mutant Library.
This sequence-defined Tn insertion library of S. aureus was obtained directly from the USA300_FPR3757 genome sequence (NCBI reference sequence NC_007793).
