The Department of Pathology & Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center offers a fully accredited, four-year residency program in anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP), in addition to fellowship training in surgical pathology, hematopathology and medical microbiology. There are also educational opportunities for fourth year medical students through the department's clerkship program to actively participate in advanced elective rotations and work directly with skilled clinical pathologists. The department offers its residents and fellows an excellent clinical network of hospitals, clinics, laboratories, physicians, and staff, providing a full spectrum of medical education experiences.
