| The UNMC Section of General Pediatrics exists to provide high quality pediatric education, health care, research, and community service.
The vision of UNMC's Section of General Pediatrics is to: 1) be a center of excellence in pediatric education for health professionals; 2) be an accessible health care resource and referral center for all children in the region; 3) provide compassionate, comprehensive, efficient, state-of-the-art health care for all children in the region; 4) be a leader in pediatric clinical research; and 5) be an advocate for all children.
