The University of Nebraska Medical Center Department of Pediatrics along with the Creighton University Medical Center Department of Pediatrics jointly sponsor graduate medical education programs in Pediatrics and combined Medicine/Pediatrics. Because the departments work together, the breadth of experiences house officers in these programs is extensive and varied. On October 17, 2006, the UNMC-CUMC-Children's Joint Pediatric Residency Program received full accreditation from the Residency Review Committee.
