The Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience has over 25 primary and junior faculty members who focus on unraveling disease mechanisms for degenerative disorders by bridging neuroscience and pharmacologic and pharmaceutical discoveries.
Collaboration among department faculty and courtesy faculty in genomic, proteomic, metabolomic, nanomedicine and bioimaging has led to improving diagnostics and therapeutics in neurodegenerative diseases.
