McGoogan Library of Medicine

The McGoogan Library of Medicine is located in Wittson Hall, right across the street from the College of Pharmacy. The library has approximately 60,000 square feet with 520 study seats, 16 networked group study rooms, three computer labs, and 69 public workstations. Network computer connections are available at 100 study seats. Locally, the library serves all of the University of Nebraska Medical Center and The Nebraska Medical Center faculty, staff, and students as well as licensed Nebraska health professionals and residents of the state. It houses approximately 235,000 volumes and 1,400 current journal subscriptions, over 700 of which are electronically available.
