Our group has two principal research interests. We are investigating contrast microbubble mediated therapeutic ultrasound applications for thrombus dissolution in pig models of venous and arterial thrombi. We are also exploring the molecular mechanisms of right ventricular failure in rat and pig models of adaptive right ventricular stresses, and in the human right ventricle in congenital heart disease.
