Summer Research Opportunities

High School Student Summer Research

Summer research opportunities are offered to attract promising young people to cardiovascular research. A limited number of students have an opportunity to sample research as a possible career by spending the summer months working in the laboratory of one of the faculty members. Students accepted for this program are awarded a $500 per month stipend for the three-month summer period. Interested students should apply directly to the faculty member in whose laboratory they would like to work. See the description of faculty research areas.
