The Postdoctoral Scholar of the Year award will be given annually at the Postdoctoral Seminar and is for $1000. Criteria for the award are:
- First authorship publications(s) in a peer reviewed journal(s)
- Fellowship(s) from a federal or private agency
- Description of your research

The second award, Postdoctoral Travel Fellowship will be given twice each year in the fall and spring. This fellowship is $500 for expenses to attend a scientific meeting. Criteria for the fellowship are:
- First authorship on an abstract
- Format of the presentation
- Explanation for attendance
- Current funding source and a letter from your mentor justifying the need for assistance.
The deadline for the Fall Travel Fellowship is August 1st and for the Spring Fellowship it will be December 1st. Application form. Mail your form to Giovanni Jones.
