UNMC recognizes that the acquisition of transferable skills, besides those acquired within a lab, is essential for career development. Therefore, the office of postdoctoral education offers workshops and seminars on relevant skills and topics year round. Postdocs are encouraged to suggest speakers or topics for these seminars.
