The freshman UNMC postdoctoral scholars are required to attend a general orientation program conducted monthly by the Department of Human Resources. The orientation provides valuable information on personnel policies, benefits, worker's compensation, sick leave, vacation leave, FMLA, crisis leave, HIPAA, blood borne pathogen, safety assessment training, services available to UNMC Employees as well as, initiatives related to UNMC's mission and vision.
