community resource.
The Child and Adolescent psychiatry team is directed by Donald Swanson, M.D. and
includes:
-
Madeline West, M.D.
-
Marissa Heuer, APRN
-

-
Robin Zagurski, LCSW
Services are provided in the office with school consultation available.
Education and research are other key activities of the division.
Outpatient Services focus on individual and family needs including problems
like depression, anxiety, abuse, behavioral problems and autistic spectrum
disorders. The patient’s needs are evaluated and care is coordinated with family
and primary care physicians as indicated. The goal is to help the patients and
their families maximize their functional abilities to be successful in their
lives.
Community involvement remains a priority for the division. Psychiatrists serve
as consultants to a number of outreach programs including Catholic Charities,
Lutheran Family Services, Journeys Substance Abuse Program and the Winnebago
