Carl Greiner, M.D.
Dr.
Carl Greiner received his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati where he did
his psychiatry residency. He held a mini fellowship in ethics at Dartmouth
College. He is board certified in psychiatry and neurology with special
qualifications in general forensics. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha
Omega Alpha, American College of Psychiatrists, and is a Distinguished Fellow of
the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Greiner presently serves as Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs with
emphasis on risk management and compliance. He is an active member of the
University Health System Consortium. He is Professor and
Vice Chair for Education, Department of Psychiatry.
Dr. Carl Greiner practices palliative psychiatry
with particular emphasis on cancer and AIDS. His major teaching field is in
ethics and forensic issues involved in the practice of psychiatry. In an effort
to advance the ethical considerations involved in transplantation, Dr. Greiner
has edited a monograph on this subject. |
