Christopher J. Kratochvil, M.D.

Christopher J. Kratochvil, M.D. is a Professor of
Psychiatry and Pediatrics, and a member of the Graduate Faculty at the
University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is also Assistant Director of the
Psychopharmacology Research Consortium at UNMC.
Board certified in Psychiatry as well as Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Dr.
Kratochvil received both his Bachelor of Arts and medical degrees from
Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed a residency in
Psychiatry at the Creighton-Nebraska Joint Residency Program. He went to
Duke University Medical Center, where he completed a residency in Child &
Adolescent Psychiatry and served as Chief Resident from 1996 to 1997.
He is currently a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent
Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical
Association, the Nebraska Regional Council of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry,
and the Nebraska Psychiatric Association. He was recently elected to
Council, the governing body of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent
Psychiatry.
Dr. Kratochvil’s research interests include pediatric psychopharmacology,
with an emphasis on the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity
disorder and pediatric depression. |
