MINI MEDICAL SCHOOL
The University of Nebraska Medical Center and co-sponsors in
about 25 communities across Nebraska will host UNMC Mini-Medical School, a free
public health educational series on behavioral health. Topics will include
depression, substance abuse, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder,
suicide, Alzheimer’s disease and more.
The series will be held April 12, 19 and
26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (central time) and will be broadcast live from the
UNMC Durham Research Center Auditorium in Omaha via satellite to about 20
communities across Nebraska.

Seating for Mini-Medical School is
limited. Registration is required. While the program is free to the public,
continuing education credits are available for $40 for nurses (5.1 contact hours
ANCC or 6.0 Iowa and California), nurse practitioners, physicians and physician
assistants (maximum 6 Category 1 Credits).
