The Psychopharmacology Research Consortium is a division of the University of Nebraska Department of Psychiatry. The Research Consortium was organized in 1984 to conduct research on new treatments for the relief of mental disorders.
The Consortium works in conjunction with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as well as pharmaceutical companies in the evaluation of potentially innovative treatments for a wide range of disorders in adults and children. It also supports research initiated by faculty and students/residents in the Department of Psychiatry. All studies are approved by the University of Nebraska Institutional Review Board which serves to protect the rights of persons who participate in research studies.
We are located in Omaha, Nebraska and provide medical services for an extended area of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.
