Biographical Sketch:
J. Calvin Russell grew up on a farm in rural Nebraska. He served in the United States Air Force before completing his education.
He has been a Physician Assistant in UNMC’s Department of Psychiatry from August of 2003 to present where he provides adult psychiatric consultation and follow-up care to outpatients. He consults with area nursing homes regarding residents with geriatric psychiatric diagnosis.
Prior to working at UNMC, Mr. Russell was a Physician Assistant at Mayo Clinic-Rochester’s Department of Psychiatry and Psychology from 1999 to 2003. He provided adult outpatient, adult inpatient physician services and geriatric psychiatric services to patients under his care.
