It is a recognition of the central role this campus plays in the mission of the Department of Psychiatry.
Services currently offered include a 10-bed inpatient psychiatric unit, a consultation service for patients hospitalized elsewhere on the Nebraska Medical Center campus, coverage of the Emergency Room and outpatient services located in the Doctor's Building, South Tower.
In addition, The University Drug and Alcohol Program is a part of the Division of University Psychiatry. Other specialty services include active collaboration with the Liver/Small Bowel Transplantation Program and the HIV/Oncology Clinic at the Lied Center.
