Professional Summary

Aleta Gaertner joined the College of Public Health in 2009 as the Administrative Program Coordinator for the college.  Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Gaertner served as the Fiscal Manager for the Department of Prevention and Community Health at The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services. Drawing upon her experience in fiscal management, academic public health administration, and program development, she is responsible for supporting the development of new programs and initiatives within the college and overseeing the college's accreditation activities. She serves as the Dean's liaison on various committees. Ms. Gaertner is a public health specialist with a Master of Public Health degree in Maternal and Child Health and is a member of the American Public Health Association, the Public Health Association of Nebraska, and the Center for Science in the Public Interest.
