Ruth Margalit MD - Director
Associate Professor in the Department of Health Promotion, Social & Behavioral Health, CoPH, UNMC. Dr. Margalit is the founding director of the SLA. She has been involved in academic healthcare for over 12 years and has also more than 20 years experience in working with underserved communities in the US and abroad. Dr. Margalit provides administrative oversight, fiscal management, and supervision of program personnel. She oversees the development and coordination of the SL programs and the evaluation process.
