Professional Interests

Mr. Guerra’s professional interests focus on health disparities and equity. He is particularly interested in the elimination of public health disparities through the acquisition, dissemination and utilization of quality health data. The application of data for the development of relevant health policy and programming is aimed at creating health equity and eliminating health disparities. Mr. Guerra’s areas of concentration regarding health policy and programming include: system change, socioeconomic determinants, cultural competence, client empowerment, health care access and utilization, and promotion of healthy lifestyle intervention strategies.
