I am most inspired by the incredible expertise, dedication and creativity of the UNMC College of Public Health faculty, students and staff!  I am so energized each day to talk to people about their passions, ideas about making the world a better place and figuring out how to help them do it.  I have the opportunity to meet people that dedicate their time and energy to improving the livelihood of others, making the environment more sustainable and creating opportunities of others to empower themselves to make positive change.

Favorite things to do: I enjoy anything outdoors, working out, and spending time with friends and family, which include my husband, two boys and dog.

I am thankful to be a part of a fast evolving, innovated, diverse cohort that focuses on every facet of life, UNMC College of Public Health. The students in the College of Public Health bring inspiring passion to their studies and to the community.  Guiding them along their educational career is rewarding for me, I enjoy experiencing first-hand the trials, tribulations and successes they experience.

Why I chose UNMC Public Health: Public health is such a diverse and multidisciplinary field, that there is literally something for everyone everywhere.  I love working in a culturally diverse environment and getting a chance to be in the middle of groundbreaking developments that Public Health advocates for.  There is no better way to affect people's lives than through public health.  Advising and promoting the field of Public Health while guiding people with their plans for the future is very rewarding.  The passion and togetherness that our leadership trickles down through the organization is incredible.
