Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I know if my registration has been received?

  • Will I need to have my ID and/or registration confirmation available to access the event?
Please stop at the registration table immediately upon arrival and pick up your registration packet and name tag.
  • Should I bring my resume, curriculum vitae, or portfolio to the event?
Bringing these items is not required, but if you have them available it is recommended. You may meet faculty or staff with whom you want to share more information about yourself. We encourage you to use this opportunity for networking with public health professionals, faculty, and current students.
  • Will the representatives for each department be present and accessible to the participants?
Yes, department representatives are hosting tables at the lunch, so you will certainly have the opportunity to speak with them at that time.
  • What is the suggested attire?
We encourage participants to dress comfortably and bring a light sweater or jacket as some areas may be cooler than others. You should also wear comfortable shoes for a moderate amount of walking throughout the building.
  • Will literature about the College and its programs be available?
Most of the literature you receive will be disseminated at the time of check in. You may also receive additional materials at sessions throughout the day.
