Health Promotion Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Department of Health Promotion, Social & Behavioral Health College of Public Health The Department of Health Promotion, Social and Behavioral Health (HPSBH) in the newly established College of Public Health (COPH) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) seeks candidates to fill faculty positions in Health Promotion at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor. These are full-time, 12-month, academic, tenure leading faculty positions. Successful candidates will be expected to conduct research related to health promotion and wellness and teach graduate level courses in the expanding MPH and new PHD degree programs in the COPH. Preference will be given to candidates with a doctoral degree in health promotion or closely related field. Evidence of research interest and competency related to smoking cessation, childhood/adult obesity, physical activity interventions, alcohol abuse, nutrition or corporate health promotion programs is highly desirable. Candidates should have a history of funded research and publications in the field of health promotion consistent with the rank expected. Numerous opportunities for multi-disciplinary collaboration exist within UNMC as well as at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (UNL).
