Research Interest & Projects

I am interested in survey design and implementation, in particular, causes of and methods for dealing with survey nonresponse. In accordance with this primary interest, I am involved in several projects on campus requiring the development of patient or provider surveys and analysis of data from such surveys.  I also work closely with faculty in the Section of Rheumatology to analyze large national databases of rheumatoid arthritis patients.  This work is mainly focused on studying patient outcomes associated with various disease markers, comorbidities, genetic predispositions, and patient medical and behavioral histories.
