- Design and analysis of clinical trials, especially cancer clinical trials; statistical and practical issues related to interim monitoring of clinical trials results and Data and Safety Monitoring Committees.
- Studies of the treatment of childhood cancer, especially soft tissue sarcoma and renal cell tumors.
- Ethical issues, including those related to Institutional Review Boards, in the conduct of clinical trials research.
