Academic Background and Work Experience
Ms. Jackie Hill, MSN, APRN-NP, is a Nurse Practitioner with the Center for Reducing Health Disparities at University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has spent many years in the Omaha community working with people to overcome their health challenges including previously working for the Omaha Public Schools and Methodist Health Systems. Jackie has also worked and volunteered for the homeless community.
Jackie has a special interest in the treatment and management of diabetes and breast cancer in African Americans as well as other women’s health issues. She is co-founder and has been President of My Sister’s Keeper since 2001, a breast cancer survivor support, education and advocacy organization, which presents numerous women’s health educational opportunities in North Omaha.
