Biostatistics/Epidemiology
The Biostatistics/Epidemiology concentration focuses on quantitative skills utilized in public health
practice and applied research. The target audience is public health professionals who obtain, analyze,
and interpret data. The course work and applications focus on the distribution, dynamics, and etiology
of disease in populations; health promotion; disease prevention; and evaluation of public health policy
and programs.
