MPH Competencies

The College of Public Health has completed a coordinated evaluation and revision of our existing competencies associated with the Master of Public Health (MPH) program. This included a revision to the MPH program's core competencies and all of the concentration level competencies. This evaluation removed redundancies between core and concentration level competencies, and applied greater consistency to the competency format used by all MPH concentrations. This evaluation was conducted to assure that our students are receiving the appropriate competencies throughout their course of study, that the competencies are clear to the student, and that the competencies are measurable throughout the student’s program.
