The yearlong Institute offers a variety of learning styles to meet the needs of all scholars.
Three intensive onsite sessions (Kickoff, Midyear, Graduation) anchor the Institute; at each, scholars participate in lecture, small group discussion, and interactive classes.
The onsites are complemented by a host of distance-based learning opportunities including expert-led monthly conference calls and webinars, access to on-line learning modules, and recommended readings. (Previous Intersession Guest Speakers)
Additionally, each scholar participates in professional coaching, mentoring, and peer coaching opportunities spread throughout the program.
Finally, scholars work on an applied group-based project of their choice throughout the year. The project, presented at Graduation, is intended to be a practicing ground for the enhanced skill set offered in the Institute.
