Research Interest:

Dr. Poole sees patient with allergic disorders, including allergic rhinosinusitis, asthma and hives (urticaria) and angioedema during two-half day clinics a week. She has active research interest with funding from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences study the immune response to organic dust exposure from agricultural farming environments. Her main research focus is on the inflammatory respiratory tract response that occurs due to chronic farming exposures with the goal of identifying novel targets for prevention of treatment of chronic respiratory diseases of the agricultural workers.
