Brand

UNMC has an incredible story to tell, and our role in marketing is to tell it in a strategic, strong, and compelling way.  Our story is reflected by many components, including advertising, our graphic look, speeches, and many other avenues of communication.

Graphic Standards

Standards have been developed for usage of the university identifier (logo). The font, color, wording, point size and design of the identifier must fit these standards on anything communicated.

 

Branding Initiative

UNMC completed a comprehensive brand strategy effort in August 2009. The results included the creation of a focused brand platform, including guidelines on messaging, photography, a secondary campus icon, color palette, typography palette and other consistent visual markers to strengthen the UNMC brand. A strong brand for the University of Nebraska Medical Center is a necessary must for the future to build and maintain support, advocacy, and our world-class reputation.

 

Advertising

Paid media, such as radio commercials, billboards, newspaper and magazine ads, and others can be useful in telling the UNMC story to targeted audiences.
