University departments and recognized campus organizations from all four University of Nebraska campuses may use the Truhlsen Campus Events Center -- which is on the first floor of the Sorrell Center -- for seminars, meetings and other functions.

Skate-a-thon for Parkinson's
The UNMC Skate-a-thon for Parkinson’s is a community effort to raise funding and awareness for Parkinson’s disease. The 24-hour skate-a-thon is held at the UNMC ice rink.
