The Department of Public Relations expresses the vitality of UNMC through several avenues: informing the public, building relationships, and generating support and advocacy for the university. We create awareness and promote UNMC’s academic, research and community service missions. Our department is also an accurate, comprehensive source of health information for Nebraska and beyond. As part of this mission, we respond to media request for experts, educated opinions and local angles to national news. Public Relations is divided into five teams: Media Relations, Publications & Creative Services (including image/brand) , Events & Community Relations and Web & Interactive Media and our administrative team.
