The agromedicine Workshop started in 1994 with grant funding from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. Since 1997, the RHEN Office has supported the costs of the course. The AgroMedicine workshop introduces students to the health and safety issues related to farming and ranching as well as the challenges and benefits of providing health care in smaller, rural communities.
The next AgroMedicine Workshop will be held Spring 2013.
