Student Association for Rural Health (SARH) is an interdisciplinary group of UNMC students who host monthly lunch programs on topics relating to rural health care. SARH was organized by students at the medical center to promote interest in health careers in rural areas of Nebraska. The student group supports students who have expressed interest in rural health. SARH provides a monthly meeting for all student disciplines that focuses on a rural education issue. The officers work across disciplines to assure presentations are relevant to each health profession.
