Undergraduate Programs
Combining community health care professionals, students and UNMC faculty to raise awareness about issues in health care.
Nebraska college students are provided the opportunity to participate in weeklong workshops at UNMC to learn more about health care issues. Students pay tuition to their undergraduate college for the course and receive college credit from their undergraduate institution. UNMC provides housing, most meals, classroom materials, instruction and consultant speakers. Students learn through classroom lectures, tours, job shadowing and hands-on experience.
