The Department of Preventive and Societal Medicine Grand Rounds Series provides regular lecture presentations on aspects of system-wide changes in health care delivery and finance. The series is intended to stimulate informed discussions of the role of Academic Health Centers in the changing health care delivery system, and to debate suggested changes in policy. Since 1993 this series has brought to UNMC eighteen nationally renown authorities to discuss past, present and future changes in health care.

Series speakers participate in both formal and informal discussions with UNMC staff, faculty and students on a wide variety of topics. We are very grateful to our co-sponsors for their continued support of this important dialogue.

Partial funding for some speakers has been provided by grants through the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
